Important Information

Please communicate the important information to your group in advance of their visit.

  • Group Garden Tours run on selected dates between September and October 2026.
  • Tour Leader ticket must be included within the booking of 26 guests.
  • Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass.
  • Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways. Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather.
  • If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact our Customer Services team to discuss your requirements. Please email customerservices@highgrovegardens.com.
  • All guests will be served the same two-course lunch unless they have a dietary requirement; these will be catered for individually. We must receive this information no later than 10 days before the tour date; dietary requirements stated on the day will not be catered for.
  • A glass of organic wine, or soft alternative, will be served alongside lunch, followed by a cup of Prince of Wales Tea, or freshly brewed filter coffee, at the end of the meal.
  • Menu is subject to change depending on seasonality.
  • The use of mobile phones and cameras (including dash cam recording) is restricted to certain areas of the Estate, which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons.
  • Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons.
  • Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
  • Groups must arrive by coach or minibus.
  • Groups should aim to arrive 30 minutes (no earlier) before the tour to allow time for security checks. Coaches and minibuses may set down and pick up only; they are unable to park on the Estate. Parking is available at nearby Westonbirt Arboretum GL8 8QS (Monday to Friday only). If you wish to park at Westonbirt Arboretum, you must inform customerservices@highgrovegardens.com before your visit. Tour operators are advised to find alternative local coach parking for Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Regarding collection, we find most groups spend approximately 60 to 90 minutes after their 90-minute garden tour enjoying their lunch and visiting the Estate Shop.
  • Please do not bring dogs onto the Estate (only assistance and guide dogs are permitted).
