A Garden Tour is a truly memorable way to experience Highgrove.

Led by one of our experienced guides, enjoy a 1½-hour tour of Highgrove Gardens. From the other-worldly Stumpery to the whimsical Thyme Walk and the Chelsea award-winning Carpet Garden, you’ll see Highgrove as part of a group of up to 26 guests.

Please note: If you require more than eight tickets for a Garden Tour, a Private or Group Tour must be booked. Multiple block bookings of 8 tickets by the same individual or company will be cancelled and refunded.  If you can’t find the date you’re looking for, please try our Champagne Tea Tours.

Dine in the Orchard Room Restaurant

After your tour, you will have time to dine in the elegant surroundings of the Orchard Room Restaurant. With table service, we offer savoury and sweet refreshments, along with a selection of hot, cold, and alcoholic drinks. 

Please note: The Orchard Room menu is available from 11:30am to 12:40pm and from 3:00pm to 5:10pm, with last orders taken at 12:40pm and 5:10pm. Guests are encouraged to relax and fully enjoy their meal after placing their order.

Visit the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion

Allow time to browse in the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion during your visit, where you’ll find a selection of bespoke Highgrove products, including special edition artworks.

Inspired by the gardens, our collection includes a delicious range of Highgrove food and alcohol, homeware, and accessories, as well as other unique pieces exclusively designed for Highgrove.

Important Information

  • Garden Tours run on selected dates between April and September.
  • Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence, or bus pass.
  • Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways. Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather. If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact our Customer Services team to discuss your requirements. Please email customerservices@highgrovegardens.com.
  • The use of mobile phones and cameras (including dash cam recording) is restricted to certain areas of the Estate, which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons.
  • Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons.
  • Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
  • Hospitality in the Orchard Room is available for visitors after Garden Tours only. Please note that reservations are not required.
  • Vehicles with dogs will not be permitted entry (excludes pre-booked service dogs).
  • Please aim to arrive up to 30 minutes before your Garden Tour to allow time for security checks.
