Gathered in the orchards at Highgrove, our honey is produced from pollen collected by the estate’s treasured royal bees. During springtime, the bees come alive and the new queen emerges from the hives. Together, they forage on the terrific pollen and nectar of the garden’s hawthorn flowers and fruit trees.

Throughout the summer, the bees can be found feeding on the sweet nectar of the flowers and the rich pastures of the Highgrove Estate. The bees reside in an old paddock, protected by Hawthorn hedges, and bounce up over the top of these on their journey to the clover fields.

Our honey is collected from the biodiverse meadows of Saschiz in Transylvania, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a favourite walking destination of His Majesty The King.

Collected by a single master beekeeper and produced using centuries-old methods, this artisan honey has a pale yellow colour and mild floral flavour.
