A Group Garden Tour for coaches only offers a party of up to 26 guests an exclusive tour of the beautiful Highgrove Gardens, including a two-course set lunch.

Your 1½-hour tour will be led by one of our experienced guides. In addition to revealing the gardens’ history, organic management and sources of inspiration, they will explain the hidden curious and horticultural innovations behind them.

Highgrove is a place of peace and tranquillity, where The King's passion and imagination have been etched onto the Cotswold landscape. From the magnificent Wildflower Meadow to the enchanting setting of the Arboretum, the gardens embody His Majesty's gardening ideals and organic principles.

Dine in the Orchard Room Restaurant

As part of your Group Tour package, guests will enjoy a delicious two-course lunch served in the Orchard Room Restaurant after their tour. The Group Tour menu is created by the Highgrove Chef’s using the most seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients.

Please Note: The menu is subject to change depending on seasonality. Dietary requirements will be catered for on an individual basis and we must receive all requests no later than 10 days prior to your tour. 

Visit the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion

Following your group’s garden tour, there will be time to browse in the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion, where you’ll find a selection of bespoke Highgrove products, including special edition artworks.

Inspired by the gardens, our collection includes a delicious range of Highgrove food and alcohol, homeware, and accessories, as well as other unique pieces exclusively designed for Highgrove.

Important Information

Please communicate the important information to your group in advance of their visit.

  • Group Garden Tours run on selected dates between May and September 2026.
  • Tour Leader ticket must be included within the booking of 26 guests.
  • Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass.
  • Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways. Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather. 
  • If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact our Customer Services team to discuss your requirements. Please email customerservices@highgrovegardens.com.
  • All guests will be served the same two-course lunch unless they have a dietary requirement; these will be catered for individually. We must receive this information no later than 10 days before the tour date; dietary requirements stated on the day will not be catered for. 
  • A glass of organic wine, or soft alternative, will be served alongside lunch, followed by a cup of Prince of Wales Tea, or freshly brewed filter coffee, at the end of the meal.
  • Menu is subject to change depending on seasonality.
  • The use of mobile phones and cameras (including dash cam recording) is restricted to certain areas of the Estate which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons.
  • Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons.
  • Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
  • Groups must arrive by coach or minibus.
  • Groups should aim to arrive 30 minutes (no earlier) before the tour to allow time for security checks. Coaches and minibuses may set down and pick up only, they are unable to park on the Estate. Parking is available at nearby Westonbirt Arboretum GL8 8QS (Monday to Friday only). If you wish to park at Westonbirt Arboretum you must inform customerservices@highgrovegardens.com before your visit. Tour operators are advised to find alternative local coach parking for Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Regarding collection, we find most groups spend approximately 60 to 90 minutes after their 90-minute garden tour enjoying their lunch and visiting the Estate Shop.
  • Please do not bring dogs onto the Estate (only assistance and guide dogs are permitted).
