Florilegium Watercolours
Leading botanical artists painted specimens of plants and trees growing in the Highgrove garden. The 124 selected paintings are now published in a limited edition with The King's Foundation. Each two-volume set is signed and handbound in leather and marbled paper with tooling in gold leaf.
The Highgrove Florilegium is a two-volume set of botanical prints depicting the plants, vegetables, fruit and trees grown in the garden at Highgrove. This publication is a culmination of seven years of work by 72 of the leading botanical artists from around the world and is accompanied by text compiled by botanists at the Natural History Museum.
The Highgrove Florilegium was designed, printed and bound in the UK. It is hand-bound in red Chieftain Goatskin and marbled paper and the endpapers and vignettes for the text are decorated with original Richard Shirley Smith drawings. Both volumes of The Highgrove Florilegium are presented in hand made protective covers.
This publication is in a limited edition of just 175 and each set is signed by HRH The Prince of Wales. All royalties go to The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation.
