Created by Emma Bridgewater and featuring illustrations by Matthew Rice, the Garden Monuments Illustrated Mug brings the gardens of Highgrove into your home, showcasing much-loved features including the Tree House, Beehive and Dovecote.

Designed by author and illustrator Matthew Rice, the mug features a charming wrap-around illustration of Highgrove House, beloved garden areas including the Stumpery and Thyme Walk, and iconic garden features such as the Tree House, Beehive and Dovecote. Inside the rim, a delicate border features The King’s Rose, bred by David Austin Roses and launched at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2025.

Made at the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of English pottery, the mug is crafted from cream-coloured English earthenware made using clay sourced from Devon, Cornwall and Wales. The distinctive illustration is applied to the ceramic using a traditional lithographing technique. A glaze is first applied to the biscuit and fired in the kiln, before the patterned transfer is carefully placed by hand onto each piece.

A beautiful celebration of Highgrove, English craftsmanship and the gardens themselves, this mug makes a thoughtful souvenir or gift for anyone who holds Highgrove close to their heart.

Care instructions: Do not use in the microwave or oven. Dishwasher safe on a low-temperature wash.
