Your 1½-hour exclusive Private Champagne Tea Tour will be led by one of our experienced guides. In addition to revealing the gardens' history, organic management, and sources of inspiration, they will explain the hidden curios and horticultural innovations behind them.

Highgrove is a place of peace and tranquillity, where The King's passion and imagination have been etched onto the Cotswold landscape. From the magnificent Wildflower Meadow to the enchanting setting of the Arboretum, the gardens embody His Majesty's gardening ideals and organic principles.

After your Private Tour, indulge in a delicious afternoon tea in the elegant surroundings of the Orchard Room Restaurant. Presented on a traditional, tiered stand, refreshments include a selection of sandwiches, sweet treats, and freshly baked scones, as well as Highgrove Champagne and tea or coffee.

Visit the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion

Allow time to browse in the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion during your visit, where you’ll find a selection of bespoke Highgrove products, including special edition artworks.

Inspired by the gardens, our collection includes a delicious range of Highgrove food and alcohol, homeware, and accessories, as well as other unique pieces exclusively designed for Highgrove.

Important Information

  • Champagne Tea Tours take place on selected dates between May and July 2026.
  • An exclusive Private Champagne Tea Tour costs £1,094.00 for up to 8 guests. Additional guests may be included at a cost of £118.00 per person, up to a total of 20.
  • Following your booking, a member of our Customer Services team will contact you to discuss any special requirements.
  • Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass.
  • Vehicles with dogs will not be permitted entry (excludes pre-booked service dogs).
  • The use of mobile phones and cameras (including dash cam recording) is restricted to certain areas of the Estate which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons.
  • Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons.
  • Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel, and rugged pathways.  Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather.

  • Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
