    The Coronation of His Majesty The King, Charles III will take place at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday, 6th May 2023.

    In celebration of the Coronation, an extra bank holiday will be held on Monday, 8th May 2023 - two days after the official ceremony. Many events are planned across the country in celebration of the Coronation of the King and Queen Consort. During Coronation Weekend, their Majesties invite people to celebrate with friends, families, and their communities.
