Platinum Jubilee: Commemorating a historic occasion

    A year-long Platinum Jubilee celebration will mark the Queen's historic reign in the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and across the world.

    On February 6th, Her Majesty the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and the Realms.

    Throughout the year, events and initiatives will be held to commemorate this historic occasion, culminating in a four-day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 5th. The bank holiday will allow communities and people all over the UK to come together to commemorate the historic occasion.

    Highgrove Gardens has chosen a range of Platinum Jubilee products to commemorate this historic occasion, including the official Platinum Jubilee range from Royal Collections. Inspired by The Queen's purple Robe of Estate, which she wore at her Coronation, the gold embroidery on the robe is based on the border pattern, which includes olive branches and wheat ears to symbolise peace and prosperity.

    The official Platinum Jubilee Collection

    The Royal Collection Trust commissioned this official collection to commemorate HM Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The purple Robe of Estate worn by The Queen at her Coronation inspired the design. The border decoration is inspired by the gold embroidery on the robe, which features olive branches and wheat ears to represent peace and prosperity.

    Biscuit royalty Biscuiteers have created their very own limited edition collection of Platinum Jubilee biscuits, including a stylish crown, with traditional royal colours of gold, purple and red, iced on a zesty lemon biscuit.

    Alison Gardiner Kitchenware

    Designer Alison Gardiner has created a new limited-edition design to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Available on both a commemorative tea towel and a mug, with only 5000 pieces of each product made, it features the iconic image of Buckingham Palace topped with the Union Jack flag and the Queen’s Guard marching through the gates.
