Care instructions:

  • Dishwasher Use: Safe for dishwashers; use a lower temperature wash with liquid detergent to preserve the design and glaze.
  • Manual Cleaning: For best results, use mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers to protect the decorative finish.
  • Stain Removal: For stubborn tea or coffee stains, fill the mug with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and hot water. Let soak for 10–15 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft sponge and rinse thoroughly.
  • Microwave & Oven: Not recommended for microwave or oven use, as earthenware can become hot or damaged. Only use in the dishwasher as instructed.

We are unable to deliver on public holidays. Any orders placed on a public holiday will be dispatched the following working day.
A signature is required for Alcohol deliveries in the UK. You can request for your parcel to be left with your neighbour, or in a safe place.

Emma Bridgewater is the founder and owner of the classic, modern pottery brand Emma Bridgewater.

Emma founded the company in 1985 after going shopping for two cup and saucer gifts for her late mother and being unable to find anything that wasn't either dainty and formal or robust and decidedly unromantic, so she decided to make her own.
