No previous jewellery-making experience is required; this relaxed, hands-on day is perfect for complete beginners and enthusiasts alike.

From Silver Band to Signature Piece

This immersive course focuses on the joy of making, giving each guest time to slow down, work with their hands and explore the tactile qualities of silver. You will learn how surface pattern, texture and form can transform a simple band into a characterful piece of jewellery that reflects your own style.

All tools and materials are provided, and class sizes are kept small to ensure plenty of individual guidance at every stage. By the end of the day, you will have gained confidence with core silversmithing techniques and a deeper appreciation for the craft behind fine jewellery.

Workshop Programme

  • 9:30am – Arrival and refreshments
  • 10:00am – Welcome and introduction to tools and techniques
  • 10:15am – Morning session: design, texture and mark-making on silver using specialist punches and hammers
  • 12:30pm – Lunch
  • 1:30pm – Afternoon session: shaping, soldering, sanding and refining your ring
  • 4:00pm – Workshop ends
