Kim Cypher is a dynamic force on the UK jazz scene renowned for her exciting and exuberant performances as one of the country’s leading jazz saxophonists, vocalists, composers and band leaders. A regular performer on the London and UK jazz circuit, with success of three highly acclaimed albums, award-winning music videos, performance in New York and sell-out shows at world-renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Kim has firmly secured a reputation for delivering the highest quality performance with incredible style, passion, energy, and charisma together with her renowned vivacious stage presence and warm connection with all audiences.
Kim will captivate you in a spellbinding performance, sharing positive energy and some Valentine love through her music and audience repartee. Together with her highly respected jazz quartet, Kim will perform a great selection of saxophone and vocal jazz, Latin, Blues, swing and funky grooves, drawing inspiration from jazz greats such as Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
Kim has toured extensively throughout the UK, sharing the stage with esteemed musicians including Ray Gelato, Liane Carroll and Pee Wee Ellis. Kim’s original music has been featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 ‘live’ performance, Jazz FM, BBC Radio London ‘live’ session, BBC Introducing plus other national, local, and worldwide radio stations.
Beyond her musical endeavours, Kim is a dedicated advocate for women in jazz and actively supports charitable causes. Her passion, talent, and unwavering dedication to her craft make her a true inspiration within the jazz community.
